HOW A RUN WORKS
Listen once. Mimic once. Chase a better score.
Each round is short enough to understand, but the one-listen and one-take rule keeps every attempt honest. In Survival, a low score costs one Mic life and sends you to a fresh sound, so the run keeps its pace instead of forcing a tired retry.

Use your microphone to imitate the sound in one uninterrupted attempt. Your raw recording stays in this browser session.

Your take plays back before the score appears, so the joke and the performance remain as important as the number.
Keep the run alive
Survival starts with three Mic lives and a random 50-sound challenge. Clear every sound to finish, then launch another challenge with a new draw.
What the Mimic Party score measures
The scorer focuses on relative sound shape rather than identity. Depending on the reference, it compares melody movement, rhythm, attack timing, energy and texture. An exact absolute pitch is not required, and the game does not attempt to recognize a speaker or judge an accent.
After every take, two waveforms make the comparison visible: the reference on one lane and your recording on the other. When a recording is too quiet, clipped or noisy to score responsibly, Mimic Party explains the signal problem instead of inventing a precise result.
