What do I need to play Mimic Party?
Use a current desktop or mobile browser with JavaScript and Web Audio support. A microphone is needed for the scored voice path. Headphones are helpful but optional.
How long is a game?
A complete solo game has four rounds. Each round includes one reference listen, one recording, your playback, a score and a random wheel result.
Do you upload or save my recording?
No. Your microphone audio is held in memory for local playback and scoring. It is not uploaded, attached to an account or added to a public leaderboard.
Why did I receive no score?
A very quiet, heavily clipped or unusually noisy recording can produce a low-confidence result. Mimic Party explains the signal issue instead of displaying a made-up score.
Does the game judge my accent or voice?
No. Scoring compares relative melody, rhythm, attacks, energy and texture. It does not identify speakers, transcribe speech or grade accents.
What does the wheel change?
The wheel appears between rounds. It may add points or apply a temporary playback transformation to your next take. The clean microphone signal remains the source for scoring.
Can I use Mimic Party without creating an account?
